This painting was done for the cover of Tiamat's Nest. This one is unique in that I wouldn't look on it as a well-composed picture in its own right. Because I was doing a wraparound cover, the composition is framed in two parts - the right-hand half appears on the front cover and is a composition in its own right, while the left hand portion wraps around onto the spine and back cover.
