Somewhere, exactly where I can't now recall, I saw a striking photograph of knife-edged mountains glowing in the sun.
I wanted to recreate something of that quality of that light, and that became the foreground. As usual, because I never do just straightforward landscapes, I brought a sci-fi element into play with the massive dome squatting on the horizon.
