Almost horizontal light clips the rim of a crater and a central mountain peak, plunging everything else into inky blackness. This was a quick and simple composition, a bit of light relief after the detailed Rider. I often do that, de-stress after a complex piece by indulging in some more instant gratification. Unfortunately mould during years of storage has obscured the satin black of space.
